Carol A. Fisher, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, is the Founder and Owner of Dance on the Go, LLC, a Pittsburgh-area mobile soul line dance and wellness company that brings engaging dance experiences to businesses, senior communities, community organizations, private clients, and special events.

Carol launched her business in 2024 after years of teaching line dance at senior centers, proof that a new chapter can begin at any stage of life. Her company partners with Pittsburgh Public Schools and holds regular classes at the Wilkinsburg Family Support Center and Steel Valley Senior Center. A recent Pittsburgh Magazine Women & Business Honoree, she also volunteers as an instructor at a local senior center.
This Veterans Month, CWE is proud to honor Carol's service and her work bringing movement and community to Western PA.

Lindsay Gibson is the founder of the Women's Adventure Club of Western PA, which brings women together to reconnect with nature through guided outdoor adventures. What began eight years ago as a small group exploring local trails has grown into a community of more than 2,500 women.

An ANFT-certified Forest Therapy Guide and Kripalu-certified Mindful Outdoor Guide, Lindsay now leads alongside Abby and Meisha. The team offers year-round hiking, seasonal rafting, paddleboarding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing, plus forest bathing, sound baths, and outdoor yoga.
Lindsay also partners with yoga and Pilates studios to co-lead sessions that pair movement with sound, and she designs custom wellness days for private groups and teams.

Jennifer Montgomery and her husband own Blackberry Meadows Farm, located in the Alle-Kiski Valley outside Pittsburgh. Certified organic since 1992, the farm has grown from one of the region's earliest vegetable subscription CSAs into a full operation offering pastured, non-GMO pork, farm-to-table meals through their Farmers Grill, and the Farm Club mentorship program for aspiring organic gardeners and farmers. Along the way, they've built a loyal community of neighbors and food lovers who value fresh, sustainably grown food straight from the source.
